Privacy

This page explains what we collect when you help this family, why we collect it, and who can see it. If anything here doesn't make sense, email us at privacy@helpkaylee.org and a real person will answer.

What we collect

If you ask to help, we collect your name, email, phone number if you give it, how you know the family, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you sign in with Google, we only ever get your verified name and email. We never ask for access to your calendar, contacts, or files.

Why we collect it

A Family Admin, one of Kaylee's parents or aunts, uses this to decide whether to approve you as a helper. Once you're approved, we use your email and phone to send you reminders about the help you've signed up for.

Who can see it

Only the four Family Admins and the site's administrator can see your contact details. Other helpers never see your phone number, email, or address unless you choose to share it with them directly. Kaylee, her sister, and her brother never see any of it — they don't use this system.

How it's protected

Everything is stored with Cloudflare, encrypted, behind a login only approved Family Admins can reach. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We use it to run this one family's coordination and nothing else.

Donations

Donations go through GoFundMe. We never see or touch your card number, and money never passes through this site.

Children

No child, Kaylee or her brother and sister, ever holds an account or receives anything from this system. Every request goes through an adult Family Admin.

How long we keep it

We keep helper information as long as this coordination effort is active. If you'd like yours removed sooner, email privacy@helpkaylee.org and we'll take care of it.
